The Productive Landscapes Group [emLab]

The Productive Landscapes Group uses economic theory and applied econometric techniques to analyze the determinants of public and private land-use decisions and investigate the tradeoffs and synergies among commodity production, development, and ecosystem service provision. We quantify the impacts of land-use changes on ecosystems and communities, and develop innovative incentives that encourage landowners to provide ecosystem services.
